The challenge  

CellRev needed to develop its brand awareness and enhance public understanding of its technology.  

The company’s tech is at the cutting edge of innovation, enabling the growth and detachment of adherent cells and unlocking new possibilities for the development of cell and gene therapies and the fast-moving cultured meat sector. 

The challenge was to demonstrate the organisation’s expertise while appealing to a niche audience of scientists and investors. CellRev needed to boost familiarity and showcase the company’s deep understanding of cell manufacturing.  

Campaign objectives 

  • Develop a trend report to highlight CellRev’s expertise and applications, helping to boost recognition and establish the company as a thought leader in its field  

  • Promote the whitepaper through a targeted social media campaign on LinkedIn

The approach 

We developed a trend report titled, ‘The Future of Commercial-Scale Cell Manufacturing’, highlighting the key challenges and opportunities in this emerging field. 

To gather data for the report, we interviewed key figures from the world of cell manufacturing, including specialists in cell therapy development, cultured meat and biomanufacturing.

We also ran an online survey for further data gathering, publicised using organic social media posts and a paid ads campaign on LinkedIn.  

The results  

The report and campaign were a success, allowing CellRev to showcase its expertise in the cell manufacturing field by offering real value to readers. The report was downloaded hundreds of times, growing the CellRev mailing list.  

Our campaign to promote the report also had the effect of bringing CellRev to the attention of new clients and markets.  

In addition, creating a trend report provided CellRev with baseline data should the company decide to repeat the same format in the years to come.  

 

When completed, the report was presented as a free download on CellRev’s website (in exchange for inputting an email address). This activity was supported by further organic social media posts and a second, targeted ad campaign that homed in on the audiences most likely to engage with (and benefit from) the report’s contents. 

 

The targeted LinkedIn ad campaign achieved significant reach. Ads were viewed by thousands of potential customers and investors, opening the possibility of future collaboration and achieving our campaign goals of brand recognition and thought leadership.
