Sookio highlighted in Tech Nation report celebrating tech clusters across the UK

Sookio has been highlighted as a company to watch in the first Tech Nation report, a comprehensive analysis of the clusters powering the UK's digital economy.

The Cambridge tech cluster has long been recognised as powerhouse of innovation, with particular strengths in wireless communications, biotechnology, engineering and healthcare. An established business support environment in the city helps turn the academic and scientific research carried out at the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University into commercial success.

The report gives the key stats on the strengths of the region and the benefits of being part of the tech cluster. For much more on this, take a look at The Cambridge Phenomenon: 50 Years of Innovation and Enterprise, a fascinating book by Charles Cotton and Kate Kirk. We ran the social media campaign to promote the launch of the book in 2013.

We're also very proud to be featured in the report, in the section on Cambridge on page 40. We're listed as one of three example company profiles, alongside microprocessor giants ARM and our client Psonar, a startup offering a pay-as-you-go music streaming service. Good to see our friends Onespacemedia featured in there too (page 68) as one to watch in advertising and marketing.

Download the Tech Nation report and see how Sookio is playing a part in powering the digital economy in the UK.
